There is a warrior inside each of us,
with our unique own battles and challenges.
I am a Lymphedema Warrior.
Since 2001, I have been battling an incurable condition
known as Lymphedema. Not only was I permanently
disfigured; I was traumatized to learn there was no cure.
For the next few months, I was in denial.
My leg had become so engorged and puffy,
yet I tried my best to ignore it,
not wanting to believe that my life
was about to change drastically.
The pain and discomfort was unbearable,
but the worst part was the shame I felt from
feeling deformed, ugly and weak.
I knew that I needed to make changes.
Living with Lymphedema can pose unique challenges to everybody, and it takes a lot of trial and error to get accustomed to a lifestyle that is both healthy, but sustainable. Through years of trial-and-error, lifestyle changes and unlearning unhealthy habits, I was able to develop a results-driven program that not only takes into account your schedule, your lifestyle, and even any pre-existing condition one may have, but emphasizes the importance of being able to maintain and sustain a healthy lifestyle.
I have dedicated my life and journey to helping people with Lymphedema and Lipedema to transform their lives by making small positive changes in their lifestyle.
I am passionate about helping people find the warrior within that have often been hidden by these illnesses. Through my #StrongerTogether campaign, my aim is to help people reclaim their lives from the diseases that have made them feel helpless.
